OFF Biennale

For its third edition, the OFF Biennale is bringing together 18 actors from the contemporary Rennes scene to create a fleeting federation incarnating the artistic vivacity of Rennes and its surroundings. By highlighting the identities peculiar to each one of the organizations in a collaborative dynamic, it is offering more than 30 exhibitions and collective and collector events, all eclectic and unusual, to be discovered
between September and December, in parallel and in collaboration with Les Ateliers de Rennes – Contemporary Art Biennale. By injecting new energies into it, the Contrefaçons and the Cartel are underpinning the 2016 edition of the OFF Biennale, with the goal of re-inventing this event and developing its dynamism with highpoints programmed beyond its two-yearly cycle. No opening or official launch this year, but regular appointments.

The accomplices in the 2016 edition :
